Parent help

Every junior player should have a free LTA Advantage account. It gives your child an LTA number for tournaments and a World Tennis Number rating. Here's how to set it up.

Step 1: Create your own Advantage account

  1. Click Join Now.
  2. Enter your first name, last name, date of birth and gender.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Create a username and password.
  5. Choose whether you'd like emails from the LTA (optional).
  6. Accept the terms and conditions.
  7. Select Join Now to complete your profile.
  8. Click the link in the confirmation email to finish signing up.

Step 2: Add your child to your household

Children under 18 are added from your own account. Go to your account settings, choose Add a new household member, and create an account using your child's correct name, date of birth and gender. You can also link an account your child already has.

Children aged 13–17 will also get an email inviting them to set up their own login.

What your child gets next

  • LTA Number: Once registered, your child receives a unique LTA number required for tournament entry.
  • World Tennis Number (WTN): Your child will automatically generate a free World Tennis Number rating, which updates as they record match results.
