Entry £15 — your place is booked once your card payment goes through. If you can't make it, please give me as much time as possible or find a replacement. If bad weather stops us playing, entry fees are refunded.

How it works

  1. Up to 16 players. Pairs are made by DUPR — the highest rated plays with the lowest, and so on.
  2. Round 1: 4 boxes of 4 pairs. You play every pair in your box. Every game is first to 10 points.
  3. Boxes are ranked by games won, then points scored.
  4. Round 2: the top 2 pairs from each box go into the winners' boxes; the bottom 2 into the losers' boxes. Again, everyone plays everyone.
  5. The winners'-stage pair with the most wins (then most points) are the champions.

  • 2.0 – 2.9 · Novice / Beginner — just getting started; focused on basic shot consistency and learning the rules.
  • 3.0 – 3.9 · Intermediate — developing shot control, tactical awareness, and consistent rallies.
  • 4.0 – 4.9 · Advanced — strong strategic execution, high accuracy, and competitive experience.
